Bookings, when making bookings please include your preparation and set up time and include your clear up time after your event.
Large function hall, which has a portable stage, PA and lighting system and can accommodate 120 for seated / catered functions or 300 seated only. The hall is able to provide seating (including seat covers), tables, Projector and Screen
Small Hall can accommodate 60 seated only or 50 with tables.
Catering Kitchen, includes catering equipment, suitable to cater for functions of 140 diners with commercial cooker, dishwasher, chill, servery, food preparation and storage space.
Office space, can be rented as an office or can accommodate meetings.
Bar area is adjacent to the Catering Kitchen, includes fridges, optics and glasses to cater for functions of 250 people.
Bookings for An Talla are made through our online system above and deposits are required to secure booking. Only rooms booked are available for use and keys are obtained and returned to Tiree Community Business through a sign out arrangement please check opening times. Use of kitchen and Bar facilities should be included in hire arrangements if required and Catering Services can be provided by An Talla volunteers. Liscenced Events can be accommodated and licencing should be arranged by the hirer. Bar services can be provided by An Talla Volunteers or can be organised independently in compliance with hall hire agreement and licence arrangements. Bring your own bottle arrangements can also be accommodated and should comply with hall hire agreement.
Set up and Clear up: Hirers are responsible for setting up and clearing up their own events within the hire period and should include this as part of their hire arrangement and the facilities should be left clean and tidy. Equipment is available as part of hire arrangements and should be stored away at the end of the hire. Assistance with set up and clear can be arranged.
Damage: The hirer will be responsible for repair or replacement costs should any damage occur during or resulting from the hire period and any damage should be reported to the committee.
Stewarding: It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure events and activities are adequately stewarded and licensed events must ensure stewarding arrangements comply to license arrangements. It is recommended that a qualified first aider is on duty at public events.
